It is a very friendly area with a strong sense of community spirit, and many residents spend time fundraising for local organizations or helping out at the schools. Westford residents are proud of their town, and it shows. Outdoor recreation is also popular here, thanks to nearby ski resorts and an extensive network of well-maintained hiking and biking trails.

No trip to Westford is complete without a stop at Kimball Farms. A local favorite, Kimball Farms is a family-run operation that offers mini golf, homemade ice cream, bumper boats, and a fabulous country store. You'll also want to stop at Stony Brook Acres, a lovely vegetable and fruit shop offering locally-grown produce. If you want something more decadent, head to Muffins on Main near the Westford Town Common. This cafe provides homemade muffins along with other sweet treats and excellent coffee.
For dinner, try out Evviva Trattoria, an Italian restaurant with tasty thin-crust pizzas and fantastic craft beers. Nearby Karma is another local favorite, serving Asian fusion cuisine in a casual-but-chic setting. Westford also has familiar brands in town, including Whole Foods and Starbucks.
Things to Do
Westford may be a small town, but you'll still have plenty to keep you busy. Outdoor recreation is popular here, and there are so many great areas to explore, including more than 75 miles of hiking and walking trails maintained by the Westford Conservation Commission. You'll find some of them along the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail, running along Route 27. There are even more at Stony Brook Conservation Land, which also features a picturesque pond.
The ski area in tow, Valley Ski Area, has 17 ski runs to try in the winter. If you need indoor entertainment, The Butterfly Place is popular, with its indoor garden showcasing more than 40 different butterfly species.
